Money Market Savings Account

This is a higher interest savings account for members who want to make a higher rate of return and who will have limited activity on this account. There are limits on the number of pre-authorized, electronic and telephone transfers each month. Interest is paid based on the balance with higher rates for larger balances. The minimum opening balance is $500 which must be maintained in order to receive interest and avoid a monthly fee.

Money Market Checking Account

This is a higher interest checking account with limited check writing privileges. There are limits on the number of pre-authorized, electronic and telephone transfers each month. The minimum opening balance is $500 which must be maintained in order to receive interest and avoid a monthly fee.

Certificate of Deposit (CD)

This is a fixed term deposit that pays a higher rate of interest than a regular savings account. This is an option for members who want to save for a specific goal and who are building assets. This is not a good option for people who need access to their money before maturity as there are penalties for withdrawal before maturity. Members can chose maturities from 6 months to 5 years. Minimum initial deposit is $500.

PowerSaver CD

This is a great product for members who want to start with a small CD of $100 and add to it over 12 months. The CD pays a higher rate of interest than a savings account, and has a $100 minimum opening deposit. The term is for 12 months with a penalty for early withdrawal.

Individual Retirement Accounts/IRA CD's

This savings product targets members who setting aside money for the long term towards retirement. There are tax advantages to this and likewise IRS penalties for early withdrawal. Minimum deposit is $500.
